“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for Thursday, May 9, tease that some election day drama will erupt. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will hope he’s earned the votes he needs for a victory.

Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) will certainly be brimming with confidence – especially after Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) hands over one final recording. The tape will prove Haley Chen’s (Thia Megia) marriage to Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) is a sham.

Claire will be desperate to tear Tripp and Haley apart, but you can bet this plan will backfire big time. However, Claire will get reassurance for now. Eve will think this evidence could be quite helpful to Claire as well as Jack. She’ll figure out how she can do maximum damage to Haley and gain more favor among Jack’s group of voters.

Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) will be right by Will’s side as they face this blow together. There’s a good chance Will’s treatment isn’t working so far. His tumor is most likely still growing and that could bring plenty of complications.

Surgery would be incredibly risky thanks to that tumor’s location, but what if Will runs out of options? He may be a risk he’ll have to take eventually.
