Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Sarah Gets Devastating News About Mickey

Linsey Godfrey, who plays Sarah on the hit NBC soap, puts it this way to Soaps in Depth in an interview, “It’s absolutely devastating. The scenes that I had to play are my worse case scenarios as a parent. And I’m a cancer survivor, so I remember what it was like. I keep joking that Mickey’s gonna get hit by a car next and that they are just doing my life as Mickey’s storyline.”

Linsey added, “But for me, I remember what it was like for my mom watching me go through it and finding out and having to do treatment for me. It was before my 18th birthday, and my mom actually had to make all of the decisions as far as treatments and everything like that. But Sarah’s just beside herself. It’s a scary kind of cancer, neuroblastoma. It’s not just like, ‘Oh, she’s got something little.’ It’s something very serious and they don’t know how bad it’s going to be or what the treatment’s going to be like, so Sarah’s just crashed.”

DOOL Spoilers: Will Baby Mickey Survive?

With that said, there are going to be a lot of people in and around Salem that are going to rally around Sarah and give her all of the love and support that she needs during this very crucial time in her life. In addition, both Xander and Eric will vow to help Sarah every step of the way. Fingers crossed that they will make it through this!
