It could be years before it is available. Jennifer says she will have to figure out another way to get through to Jack (Matthew Ashford). Kayla believes Jennifer can get through to him. Kayla tells Jennifer that she tried to get through to Eve (Kassie DePaiva).
Jennifer tells Kayla it didn’t work. Kayla says they can’t trust Eve to back off of Jack. Jennifer tells Kayla there has to be a way for Jack to get his memory back, Kayla says there may be, but it’s a long shot. Kayla thinks the hospital might still have the diary and she and Jennifer head off to search for it. Kayla tells Jennifer that they can’t find the journal.
Days of Our Lives’ Jack arrives with coffee and magazines. Jack has brought Eve a bridal magazine and asked about their wedding. Eve asks if Jack is proposing, he says no she told Jennifer they were getting married. Eve asks why they shouldn’t marry they are two of a kind; Jack accuses Eve of using him like a knife in Jennifer’s back. Jack tells Eve that his family seems to love him.
Eve shows Jack Chad’s (Billy Flynn) job offer and tells him she turned it down for him. Jack seems to believe Eve’s story and apologizes. Jack points out that neither he nor Eve has a job and he asks what they will do about that. Jack wants to work at the Spectator. Eve says Jack needs to be working somewhere else. Eve says she knows how capable Jack is and she sees the big picture.
Eve tells Jack he was a politician too and suggests he run for mayor. Jack asks who is going to vote for someone with amnesia, Eve says they can spin it, he’s a clean slate. Jack goes out to research Salem for his bid as mayor. Eve tells Jack she needs to do some reading herself when Jack leaves, Eve pulls out Rolf’s diary.
Days of Our Lives’ Sonny (Freddie Smith) is on the phone talking about Leo’s (Greg Rikaart) mom is the key to getting rid of him. Sonny walks in and sees Brady (Eric Martsolf). Brady informs Sonny that Victor (John Aniston) wanted to see them. Brady can’t believe that Sonny married Leo unless he has something on him. Sonny screwed up and hurt the family and swears to make it right. Sonny hopes Victor can find the right person to run Titan. Brady says I guess you haven’t heard.
Brady tells Sonny if he hasn’t accepted Victor’s offer he would have been forced to hire Xander. Sonny tells Brady he thinks he is the best person for the position. Sonny says he heart wasn’t in it and Brady’s always was. Brady thanks Sonny and they hug. Xander (Paul Telfer) comes downstairs and threatens to throw Brady out. Xander tells Brady that Victor is this close to naming him the head of Titan. Brady tells Xander that Victor just named him the head of Titan.
Days of Our Lives’ Leo wakes up without Xander in his bed as Eric (Greg Vaughan) is discovering him in bed with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). Eric demands to know what Xander did to Sarah. Eric demands to know how Sarah could do this. Eric accuses Sarah of sleeping with Xander to get back at him. Sarah tells Eric she doesn’t want to rehash why she slept with Xander.
Eric says that isn’t good enough. Sarah thinks back to drinking and talking to Xander in the living room. Sarah says Xander was kind to her when she needed it. Eric tells Sarah that Xander hates him and used her because of it. Sarah tells Eric she was losing Xander and he gave her what she wanted. Eric asks who Sarah was trying to hurt, him or Rex (Kyle Lowder).
Eric tells Sarah that she isn’t who he thought she was. Sarah tells Eric she wasn’t thinking about him at all. Eric moves to leave, Sarah stops him, he says he can’t even look at her right now. Sarah says she wanted to hurt Rex. Eric tells her she wanted to sleep with him to hurt Rex, Xander was to hurt him. Eric tells Sarah she destroyed their friendship and walked out.
Days of Our Lives Xander leaves Eric and Sarah to talk while he goes to Leo’s room. Xander leads Leo to believe that they slept together and he doesn’t remember it. Xander tells Leo how great their night was and Leo remembers nothing. Leo wants more but Xander refuses, he wants the information Leo has on Sonny. Xander keeps pushing for Leo’s information.
Leo refuses to give Xander any information unless he sleeps with him right now. Xander refuses to sleep with Leo again. Leo accuses Xander of drugging him. Leo threatens to have the glass tested for drugs. Xander grabs the glass and tells Leo he didn’t have to stomach to go through with it. Leo comes downstairs and wants Sonny to go for a full spa day with him.

Days of Our Lives’ Kate (Lauren Koslow) goes to visit Rex and is upset that he hasn’t contacted her. Rex tells Kate about sleeping with Sarah’s sister. Rex tells Kate that he came back to win Sarah back. Rex tells Kate that Eric has helped him to try and talk to Sarah. Rex says Sarah said she would give him a second chance if he were honest.
Kate can’t believe that Rex told Sarah that he slept with her sister. Rex wants to go after Sarah. Kate stops Rex and tells him he has to give Sarah time to process what he has done. Kate tells Rex she loves him, but he must be patient. Eric storms into the apartment, Rex asks what is wrong. Eric doesn’t want to talk about it, but Rex won’t let it go. Eric tells Rex someone he cared about disappointing him.
