Days of Our Lives Spoilers & Recap Thursday, January 24: Chad Offers To Give Up Dimera – Gabi And Stefan Declare War

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Thursday, January 24, 2019, reveals Tripp (Lucas Adams) arrives home, and Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) is working on her music. Tripp offers to look over her song, and she notices his burn.

DOOL Spoilers Claire’s Dream Comes True

Claire isn’t happy when Tripp mentions a cute nurse. Claire asks if Tripp is interested in Haley (Thia Megia). Tripp says he could get her number from Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). Tripp says since Ciara (Victoria Konefal) is out of town he should think about moving on; Claire thought he would be moving on with her. Claire thought she and Tripp were getting closer; she asks if she’s the only one who feels it. Tripp doesn’t want a relationship with Ciara living there.

Claire suggests that Ciara may stay in South Africa. Claire can’t believe that Ciara is keeping them from having a relationship. Claire asks if Tripp is still hung up on Ciara. Tripp tells Claire that ship has sailed. Claire felt a spark from the start, but they have never got a chance to try. Claire and Tripp take turning speculating what could have before they begin to kiss. Tripp pulls away from Claire and tries to take things slow; Claire asks how much slower things can go she’s waited two years.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers J.J. And Haley Grow Closer

Days of Our Lives’ Haley is cooking, J.J. (Casey Moss) tries to warn her about smoke, suddenly the smoke alarm sounds. Haley teases J.J. about looking hungry. J.J. says he was busy trying to make sure she didn’t burn his apartment down. Haley tells J.J. about meeting Tripp, J.J. says he’s the better looking one and tells him they are cousins. Haley said she learned how to cook from her mom.

Haley asks J.J. about his talk with Jack (Matthew Ashford). J.J. tells Haley his dad is talking about running for mayor. J.J. said it got a little awkward when they started talking about their love lives. Haley wants J.J. to tell her about the biggest mistake he ever made. J.J. says he slept with Eve (Kassie DePaiva), Haley is shocked. Haley says Eve should understand things since she is a mom. J.J. tells Haley that Eve’s daughter was his girlfriend. Haley asks where Paige (ex-True Obrien) is now J.J. tells her she got killed.

Haley asks what Paige was like and how they met. J.J. tells Haley he lost his wallet and that’s how they met. J.J. tells her that Paige pushed him into playing the guitar. Haley wants J.J. to play for her. J.J. doesn’t want to play, Haley doesn’t care and hands him the guitar. J.J. plays and sings for Haley who praises how good he is, and she sings with him. J.J. tells her she can sing and asks her to keep going.

DOOL Spoilers Chad’s News Stuns Abby

Days of Our Lives’ Abby (Kate Mansi) is folding clothes, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) joins her. Jennifer sees a shirt that Chad (Billy Flynn) bought Charlotte. Jennifer asks if Abby still loves Chad, Abby says she does, but she doesn’t know if they can get past this feud with Stefan (Tyler Christopher). Abby says that Chad walked away from Dimera before, but Stefan brings out the Dimera in him.

Abby doesn’t know if she can ever trust Chad again, he has to prove himself to her. Abby wants the man she first fell in love with, Jennifer knows what she means. Abby says they have to work together to bring Jack back to them. Chad goes to visit Abby and tells her about the board’s decision. Chad tells Abby he is going to resign. Abby asks if Chad is going to give up the house, job, and everything. Chad tells Abby none of it means anything without her.

Days Of Our Lives Chad And Stefan Are Named Co-CEO

Days of Our Lives’ The Dimera board has chosen to make Chad and Stefan co-CEOs. Chad and Stefan continue to argue about the company. Chad thinks Stefan should go back to being Sam and leave town. Stefan says he has Dimera there no one else in the family wants anything to do with him. Chad tells Stefan it would be an empty victory.

DOOL Ted Invites Hope To Dinner

Days of Our Lives’ Ted (Gilles Marini) asks why Hope (Kristian Alfonso) is annoyed to see him talking to Kate (Lauren Koslow). Hope tells Ted it seems strange for him to be talking to the woman who had him kidnapped. Hope tells Ted she finds it interesting that he would continue sleeping with someone who had him kidnapped. Ted tells Hope that Kate made it clear they were over and suggested Hope looks relieved. Ted tells Hope he thought she might be jealous, Hope tells Ted she is happily married.

Hope tells Ted that Rafe (Galen Gering) is out of the country, Ted invites her to dinner. Hope tells Ted she has other things to do tonight. Ted wants to thank her for helping him and apologizes for not getting the goods on Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). Hope tells Ted they can go to Doug’s place. Hope tells Ted that Rafe wants to be there for someone who needs his help.

Ted tells Hope she seems unhappy about Rafe’s decision. Hope tells Ted the person in question is Sami’s (Alison Sweeney) son. Ted suggests something could happen between Sami and Rafe. Ted doesn’t understand how any man could cheat on a woman like her. Ted and Hope are glad they decided to have dinner. Eli (Lamon Archey) comes in and tells Hope that Melinda (Laura Kai Chen) resigned.

Days Of Our Lives Gabi And Stefan Spar

Days of Our Lives’ Gabi (Camila Banus) goes to the police station looking for Rafe. Eli informs Gabi that Rafe went to help Sami. Gabi and Eli talk about what she did to Chad, Abby, and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes). Gabi leaves telling Eli to have Rafe call her. Gabi sees the board decision and storms over to the mansion demanding to know what this means for her.

Chad wants to give Gabi back the company, Stefan wants to keep it. Gabi says Andre tried to keep it, look what happened to him. Gabi says Chad and Stefan act like they are gods. Gabi says she’s not going to be pushed around by either of them. Gabi tells Chad to find a way around Stefan; Chad says he has better things to worry about than her.

Stefan says there is another option. Stefan tells Gabi she can quit any time she wants. Stefan says Gabi has had a rough year and tried to get her to give it up. Gabi vows to make his life a living hell. Stefan threatens to have Gabi locked up again for another me she didn’t commit. Gabi tells Stefan she had her best friend locked up, imagine what she could do to her worst enemy. Stefan invites her to bring it on, Gabi walks out.
