Days Of Our Lives Spoilers & Recap Monday, April 8: Eve Manipulates Jack – Ted Confesses His Love For Hope

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Monday, April 8, 2019, reveals Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) starts to play the recording of Tripp Dalton’s (Lucas Adams) confession that his marriage to Haley Chen (Thia Megia) is a fraud but claims to have lost the file.

Eve announces her and Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) engagement instead. Jack places a ring on Eve’s hand making the engagement official. Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) stops Jack and has some more questions. She tells Jack that Eve is manipulating him, Jack disagrees.

Jack tells Jennifer that no one tells him what to do; he makes his own choices. He confronts Eve about her marriage announcement. Jack decides he wants to get married tomorrow and sell this as the American love story.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Abe Carver Worries About Lani Price

Days of Our Lives Abe Carver (James Reynolds) moves to kiss Sheila Watkins (Tione T-Boz Watkins) and then blames Sheila for the almost kiss. Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) interrupt Abe and Sheila’s heated discussion. He questions Sheila about her and Abe’s relationship. Abe tells Lani he is worried about her getting so close to the baby.

Lani tells Abe she doesn’t need another baby named David to bring up feelings about her baby. She says she’s helping with David because he needs someone. Sheila tells Eli that Abe misses his girlfriend. Eli says Abe wouldn’t stand in Valerie Grant’s (Vanessa Willams) way with her career.

Days of Our Lives Eve apologizes to Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) for not playing the confession tape. Claire is upset because Tripp and Haley are getting married tomorrow. Eve vows to find another way to stop the wedding. Claire accuses Eve of looking out for herself and not wanting to help break up Tripp and Haley. Eve tells Claire she thinks of her as a daughter. She misses her daughter and being a mom. Claire apologizes for being short with Eve lately. She promises to try to trust in Eve. Eve understands that it’s hard for Claire to be patient right now.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Hope Brady Is Stunned By Ted Laurant’s Admission

Days of Our Lives Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) is approached by Ted Laurant (Gilles Marini). Ted berates Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) for not being there for his wife. He kisses Hope again; she tells him that was not supposed to happen. Ted doesn’t think Hope needs to be married anymore. He wants to discuss his and Hope’s attraction for each other. Hope tells Ted he has misread the situation, she is not ready to give up on her marriage. He doesn’t believe he misinterpreted anything.

Ted wants Hope to move on with him. Hope wants her marriage to work. He says he sees a man that isn’t passionate enough for her. Ted asks if Rafe is crazy in love with her like he is. Hope claims that Ted doesn’t know her. He tells her she needs to be protected, valued, and cherished. Ted thinks he can wait until Hope is ready and leaves.

Days of Our Lives Rafe visits Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Hartley) who asks if he found the baby. Jordan wants the baby brought to her at the hospital, Rafe tells her that can’t happen. He pushes for details about the baby’s father.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – J.J. Deveraux Comforts Jennifer Horton

Jordan refuses to give that information to him. She wants Rafe to look after David and keep him safe. Rafe goes to pick up the baby telling Eli and Lani that he is going to take care of him.

J.J. Deveraux (Casey Moss) talks to Tripp and Haley about the rally. Tripp suddenly notices Claire missing and wonders where she is. Tripp and Haley go back to the loft and discuss their wedding vows. Haley wants to use traditional vows, Tripp intends to write his vows.

Meanwhile, J.J. is concerned about Jennifer and goes to check on her. Jennifer shows him her article on Jack’s marriage to Eve. J.J. hugs Jennifer for comfort.
