Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) spend a romantic Christmas together. It will be the first Christmas without Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) for Justin, and the first Christmas divorced from Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) for Kayla. However, the two should continue to be a great comfort to each other, as well as celebrating their Christmas in Kayla’s new condo. This way there won’t be quite so many ghosts of yesteryear haunting them and this can be the Christmas of things to come!

DOOL Spoilers – JJ Deveraux Comes Clean to Jack Deveraux and Jennifer Deveraux About His Addiction

JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) comes clean to his parents, Jack and Jennifer Deveraux (Matthew Ashford, Melissa Reeves) about his addiction to pills. Jack and Jennifer knew there was something wrong although previously they had not been able to pin it down to an addiction, but more a response to grief, anger, loss, and a desire for revenge. They will remain a strong support to their son, who is now taking the first step to recovery from his addiction now that he has admitted to it, as long as he continues to let them support him.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Detective Rafe Hernandez Tries To Break Up A Fight Between Hope Brady And Kate Roberts

Elsewhere, Detective Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) finds himself in the middle of a catfight between his ex-wife, partner, and Salem Police Commissioner – making her his boss – “Hope Brady” (Kristian Alfonso) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow)! As Days of Our Lives viewers will recall, Hope has been operating as Princess Gina Von Amberg (Kristian Alfonso) for well over a year now, having been implanted with an upgrade to the computer chip in her brain years ago by Stefano DiMera (then played by the late Joe Mascolo) and merely impersonating Hope although it is still Hope’s real body, just as Stefano, or “Steveano” now lives in Steve Johnson’s body. It is likely “Steveano” that the two women are fighting over and it may be a physical fight that Rafe has to break up!

DOOL Spoilers – “Stefano DiMera” Is Tempted To Reveal Himself to Dr. Marlena Evans

Meanwhile, “Stefano DiMera” or as Days of Our Lives viewers know, Stefano in Steve Johnson’s body is tempted to reveal himself to his “Dark Queen” Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Longtime Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that the original Stefano has been obsessed with Marlena for many years, brainwashing and kidnapping her many times over the years. It has been the plan of Stefano for him to regain his “Dark Queen”, Marlena, while Princess Gina was supposed to regain John Black (Drake Hogestyn), formerly known as “The Pawn” while also under Stefano’s brainwashing and control. But would Marlena respond to him as Stefano when he is in Steve’s body, as Princess Gina and his “Katerina”, Kate Roberts has; that is the big question!
