Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, August 12 finds John Black (Drake Hogestyn) sharing a sweet surprise for his wife Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), not knowing that she has a surprise in store for him, too.

Also, both Marlena and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) are worried about Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), not knowing that it’s actually Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) pretending to be her in a mask.

Elsewhere, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) can’t stop thinking about Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), now that she no longer has a wedding ring on her finger. Here’s what you need to know.

It begins with both John and Marlena celebrating their wedding anniversary in great style. Both have a sweet surprise in store for each other. Little do they know that they both got the same thing!

Unfortunately for John, he won’t be able to whisk his bride away anywhere and that’s because he’s got work to do. Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that he will team up with Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) to find Ted Laurent’s (Gilles Marini) murderer.

DOOL Spoilers – Nicole Walker Is Forced To Talk

Meanwhile, both Marlena and Chloe are worried about Nicole. They believe that something is up, seeing how she’s not been acting like herself lately. Chloe suggests that Nicole talk to a therapist, especially since she is still grieving the loss of her daughter. However, Kristen wants nothing to do with this.

There’s no way that she’s going to sit down with Marlena and talk about her emotions. It will be interesting to see how Kristen wiggles her way out of this one, as there’s a strong possibility that Marlena might sense that something is off with Nicole. As a matter of fact, she might even realize that she’s talking to a completely different person!

Also, Xander Cook will make it pretty clear that he’s still got Sarah on his mind and that he’s not willing to let her go. Simply put, he is completely obsessed with her. Rex might be gone, but Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) is still around, which means that Xander still has competition in town. Who will Sarah choose in the end?

At this point, she’s not even sure herself. Kristen will also catch Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and needless to say she won’t be happy about it. It’s almost become a recurring theme of people trying to snoop in her hotel suite to find clues as to what’s going on! Kristen is going to go wild as she begins to unravel, threatening her true identity by the end of the week. Fans will simply have to tune in for all of the action!
