Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will bond with someone quite unexpected in Monday’s Days of Our Lives episode, and viewers won’t want to believe who it is!

Spoiler photos in the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest show a photo of Maggie having fallen asleep on a couch snuggled on the shoulder of none other than Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) who appears to be asleep as well! Perhaps the two had a session of vodka and sympathy, and both overdid it just a tad!

As Days of Our Lives viewers know, Xander is very interested in Maggie’s daughter Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) for more than just a romp in the hay (or quite a few “romps” judging by all the condoms in the floor from the last time, several months ago when Sarah was upset over Rex Brady’s (Kyle Lowder) infidelity and got very, very drunk herself!) and so Xander probably knows that Maggie isn’t too keen on Rex either.

He is probably trying to ingratiate himself with Mama to get to daughter, and put himself as a viable – and more acceptable – contender for Sarah than Rex, in Maggie’s eyes.

Since Eric Brady, (Greg Vaughan) Rex’s only other possible rival for Sarah’s heart is still trying to win Nicole Walker (Adrienne Zucker) back, in spite of her wanting Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and not even being Nicole in the first place, but Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) in a mask, that gives Xander a pretty good chance to win Sarah’s heart away from Rex; and especially if Mama Maggie approves!

What woman who is close to her mother can resist a man who makes a point of making her mother fall in love with him as well…hopefully just figuratively and not literally, of course!

Xander himself would get something emotionally out of a close relationship with Maggie as well, having been an orphan who’s been trying to get his uncle Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and the other Kiriakises to accept him as well!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Maggie Kiriakis Will Have Someone To Confide In

Maggie, in Xander will have someone she can confide in without fear of judgment and possibly a little more objective than the rest of the family, although she’d do well to talk things over with Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) even if on a friends basis and not on a professional one!
