Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Julie’s Big Heartbreak — Will She Have To Skip Lani And Eli’s Wedding?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that heartbreak is coming up for Salem’s longest-running family, the Hortons. Julie Williams (Susan Seathford Hayes) is in the Salem University Hospital inching ever closer to death because she needs a new heart and she can’t be put on a transplant list because of her age. It’s not that they can’t do a transplant on her, the heart just has to be offered to her family. And there just aren’t that many hearts available, to begin with.

Expect to see a lot of heart-wrenching scenes set at the hospital chapel and each member prays for a miracle. There are a lot of Hortons still living in Salem so this will be an opportunity for Lani Price (Sal Stowers) to witness firsthand how the Hortons comes together and rallies when one of their own is in trouble.

Lani will soon be marrying Eli Grant (Lamar Archer), who not all that long, didn’t know he was a Horton himself. But a part of him might blame himself for Julie’s heart problems.

Julie was hurt by Eli’s frank talk to her about her racist remarks, most notably about Gabi (Camilla Banus) and although the conversation was difficult for all parties involved, they all seemed to come to an understanding of each other. And Julie agreed to take a look at her behavior.

The conversation had to happen, but even before Julie had the heart attack, he wondered to Lani if he had been too tough on her. Lani agreed that the conversation was stressful, but in the end Julie’s takeaway was to do a cleansing of Doug’s Place and apologize to Gabi.

And although Julie had admitted she was hurt a little by the whole conversation, she proved she took it seriously when she attempted to apologize to Gabi. But as usual when Gabi and Julie are in the same general vicinity, it got a bit heated and Julie collapsed, and Gabi just left her there on the ground because she thought Julie was faking it. Eli’s line of thinking may very well that if that conversation with Gabi, Julie probably wouldn’t have had a heart attack at all, or at least not at that moment.

DOOL Spoilers – Eli Grant Will Feel Guilty

As awful as Eli feels about the incident, he is still the police commissioner and he seems to be a great leader but that job is difficult and stressful and Eli will need Lani more than ever to help him to stop blaming himself and focus on Julie. And Lani should be his rock as he and the rest of the Horton wait for either a miracle or brace themselves if Julie dies before a heart can be found.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – What’s Coming Up For Eli Grant And Lani Price?

The Horton’s will eventually get their miracle after a heart becomes available due to a shocking incident. And after Julie starts to recover she will insist Lani and Eli get married immediately. More than likely Eli and Lani will want to do anything to help Julie recover. They should come out this with a better understanding of what being a family meant, and they will be eager to start their life together.
