Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Julie Reveals, ‘Gabi Left Me to Die’ at Hospital

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) has a heart attack. What is worse, she will need a heart transplant in order to survive. Once at the hospital, Julie informs Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) that Gabi (Camila Banus) left her to die. Loved ones don’t react well to this statement.

Gabi’s Reckless Behavior

After Gabi leaves Julie on the ground, the feisty character collapses. Luckily, she was saved by Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) quick thinking. Once at the hospital, she speaks to two doctors on duty, who happen to know her. She tells them that Gabi just left her there to die. In a small town like Salem, word travels fast.

Julie Needs a Heart Transplant

Unfortunately for Julie, the matriarch just didn’t just have a heart attack. Her cardiac issues are so severe, she needs a new heart. Loved ones gather around her hospital bed. They know that this is serious, especially after Kayla delivers devastating news. Hope (Kristian Alfonso), Eli (Lamon Archey), Doug (Bill Hayes) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) struggle to deal with it the best they can.

What are Julie’s Odds?

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, head writer Ron Carlivti teased what to expect. One of the storylines was Julie’s health crisis.

“After Julie’s heart attack, her prognosis looks pretty bleak. The only thing that will save her is a new heart. As her loved ones all struggle to grapple with that, they are sort of holding out hope that a new heart may somehow come into play even though the odds are against her.”

Based on what Carlivati said, Julie’s odds are low. However, Salem is a town known for its supernatural events and miracles. Julie will either get her new heart, or something unbelievable will happen. In either case, prayers will be answered.
