DOOL spoilers tease that JJ has finally hit rock bottom. Stealing hospital patient’s medication, taking handfuls of pills without knowing what they are and seeing his dead girlfriend were all shown on screen this week. Plus, he stowed away on the DiMera jet and stole Eli’s gun. It was quite a scene to see JJ point a gun at Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) head while she was dressed as a nun.

However, Kristen was saved by divine intervention, leaving both Eli and JJ speechless. Once the former commissioner took back his weapon, he helped JJ to walk away from the Italian convent. He couldn’t leave him there in that condition and told JJ that his top priority was keeping him from landing in jail.

This might not sit well with Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), who wants Kristen’s shares. He didn’t even respond to her text message informing her about what is happening. Now, JJ and Gabi have a romantic history and were good friends before the time jump. However, she has changed and her heart has turned cold and black. This indicates that she probably won’t care about JJ’s health or safety, just that she doesn’t have Kristen’s stock shares.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that once back in Salem, Julie will help JJ get sober. This is similar to a storyline a few years ago in which Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) became addicted to pain medication. Julie was there for her at that time, too.

It is teased that JJ will tell Jennifer and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) the truth about what has been happening with him. They will be stunned and horrified, as they were so focused on everything else that they didn’t realize that their son was in serious trouble.

DOOL Spoilers – Core Issues Need to be Addressed

Even though it is wonderful that Julie helps JJ get sober, that is only part of recovery. He will turn to other unhealthy coping methods if he doesn’t deal with his core issue. As fans know, that is Haley’s death and the tragic way she was murdered, including Kristen going free for the crime.

Will he be able to forgive Kristen so he can heal and move on from the tragic event?
