Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Hartley) will have a big surprise for Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) soon — she’ll tell him that HE is Baby David Ridgeway’s (Jaxton and Dexter Ellis) birth father!

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that when Rafe was involved with Jordan was way back in 2014 and she left town to take a job in New York City in 2015! David was maybe 10 months old when Jordan asked Rafe to travel to California to retrieve him from a friend back in early 2019, after being committed to Bayview after trying to kill Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and having kidnapped Charlotte DiMera (Chloe Teperman).

How in the world does she expect Rafe to believe that he is David’s birth father unless somehow she got a semen sample from him and froze it for later use for artificial insemination? Rafe did have a doppelganger at one time when he was still with Sami Brady ( Alison Sweeney) that Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) had set up, but that was even earlier, much earlier than when he met Jordan!

DOOL Spoilers– Was Jordan Ridgeway Artificially Inseminated?

The only way Rafe could realistically be David’s birth farther is through artificial insemination, and that would require Jordan to have a semen sample from Rafe. Sperm do stay viable through being frozen, that is how sperm banks keep their samples for artificial insemination.

They can stay frozen indefinitely and still have fertilization power; there have been true life cases of babies being born using twenty-year-old sperm! How could Rafe have donated without knowing, though?

As crazy and sneaky as Jordan can be, no one would put it past her to have drugged Rafe or made him unconscious in some other way and have obtained a semen sample to be frozen for the future before she left for New York!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers– Jordan Ridgeway Has It In Her To Pull Off This Scheme

Her real “crazies” didn’t come out until she came back to Salem a few months ago, but she probably had it in her, since most people who go psychotic have subconscious tendencies towards psychopathy that tend not to surface unless they have some kind of trauma in their lives.  For example, the car accident that brought back when her mother and unborn baby brother were killed prior to 2006 when Jordan purposely caused that accident, as she later confessed.

However, she obviously suffered a great deal of guilt for her actions, which is the reason she ran off with Ben in tow as a child when she was a teenager, determined to protect him from Clyde Weston (James Read) who was abusive to both of them. She may have figured that she may never see Rafe again when she went to New York but wanted to have a child with him, and getting a sample and having it frozen to have herself artificially inseminated with later!
