Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: John Sets A Trap – Diana In Serious Trouble

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: John Black (Drake Hogestyn) - Diana Cooper (Judith Chapman)Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will turn the tables on Diana Colville Cooper (Judith Chapman) this week on Days of Our Lives! John and Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) set a trap for Diana, knowing that she would fall for the bait when Diana found out that Marlena was not only alive, but cognizant!

John took her into Marlena’s room, and questioned her about Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), showing her a mug shot. Diana claimed not to recognize Kristen. She hoped to throw suspicions on Nurse Shelly Santos (Alyssa Mann), who she had undoubtedly fed the information to about Kristen.

John talked about when Kristen poisoned some chocolates with penicillin previously. This also was in an effort to kill Marlena, but obviously didn’t work either. Then he let Diana overhear him tell about the police taking Marlena’s IV bag and tubing as evidence.

Salem University Hospital personnel had previously discovered a pinhole in the tubing. Lab tests had already been run on the IV contents, which showed penicillin had been injected.

Days of Our Lives viewers now know that John must have been bluffing when Leo Starke (Greg Rikaart) and others had suggested Diana as a person of interest in Marlena’s poisoning and he didn’t want to believe it. She swallowed John’s bait hook, line, and sinker about the IV bag. Then she immediately went to the Salem Police Department where Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) were waiting.

Diana played reporter and got them to give an interview about the manhunt for Kristen DiMera. Eli and Lani knew something was up when she wanted that fake interview.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Diana Cooper Will Be Disappointed

They allowed her to hear that the IV bag and tubing was in Commissioner Hope Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) office, where Diana picked the lock, entered, and surprise! John was sitting at Hope’s desk waiting for her.

Days of Our Lives viewers know Diana is going to be grievously disappointed and probably insanely angry as well, once she finds out John has the goods on her, and right there in the police department where she can be arrested immediately.

It should be interesting, and possibly hilarious, to see what kinds of lies she thinks she can fool John and the police with. John will inevitably confront her, with what he’s found out – possibly from her past as well as the present.
