Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Jay Kenneth Johnson has reprised the role of Philip Kiriakis. However, instead of appearing in Salem, he is on the digital companion series, Last Blast Reunion. The actor recently discussed reuniting with former co-stars and if he would consider coming back to DOOL on a full-time basis.

The first chapter of the digital companion series was Chad & Abby in Paris. Just a few weeks ago, the second installment was uploaded to the official DOOL app. Titled Last Blast Reunion, it brings back together many fan-favorite characters. A few of these include Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), Belle Black (Martha Madison), Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and of course, Philip Kiriakis.

DOOL Spoilers – Philip Kiriakis’ Return

About a month ago, Lauren Koslow, who plays Kate Roberts DiMera accidentally shared a photo on social media. It was of her and Johnson and it was quickly deleted. The picture started a firestorm of rumors that Philip would be returning to Salem.

Even though the actor confirms that there have been conversations of a possible comeback, right now he is just on the digital companion series.

Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that fans are excited to see Philip return as well as the other characters from high school. They were a close-knit group and had major storylines that sparked a lot of interest. Some of these plots are still remembered today by long-time viewers.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Jay Kenneth Johnson discussed him appearing in Last Blast Reunion.

“He [executive producer Greg Meng] brought me on for this first chapter and said there’s potential for possibly more and maybe some things after that. I’m keeping my fingers crossed and praying that it all works out.”

Johnson also said that he is glad he kept a good relationship with everyone at the NBC soap opera. He also mentioned that the whole reason why he’s working and he was able to reunite with his co-stars is because of the fans. The teens of Salem had a loyal fan base and still do.

DOOL Spoilers – Would Actor Return to Soap?

When asked if he would consider returning to the NBC soap opera, he is definitely open if the opportunity comes up. Fans would certainly enjoy it, especially with the chemistry teased between Philip and Chloe during the most recent Last Blast Reunion “app-isode.”
