As DOOL viewers know, she recently received a weird phone call from Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) that left her baffled. Specifically, Ted left her a voicemail message saying that he had some big news for her and that he was anxious to talk to her right away.

That certainly left Hope intrigued, and she’ll get even more intrigued as time goes by and she doesn’t hear back from Ted. It looks like a few days will go by where Hope doesn’t hear from Ted, and after receiving such an intense voicemail message from him, she’ll find that to be a bit strange.

As DOOL viewers know, Ted’s got himself in quite a jam. He was part of Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) plot to fake Holly Jonas’ (Harlow and Scarlett Mallory) death, and unbeknownst to him, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is behind the whole thing and calling the shots.

Where Ted really went wrong is when he decided to betray Xander and go tell Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) that her daughter Holly is alive. As DOOL viewers know, Nicole is actually Kristen sporting a “Nicole” mask, so when Ted decided to tell Nicole the truth about Holly, he was actually telling Kristen the whole story!

And that led Kristen to take drastic measures. She hauled off and hit Ted over the head with a fireplace poker in the DiMera mansion, then had Xander help her drag his body into the DiMera tunnels. Now Ted’s in quite the predicament, and there’s no way that Kristen is going to let him go blab the Holly story to Hope or anyone else.

So, while Ted is being held captive by Kristen and Xander, Hope will be wondering exactly what might have happened to Ted. She’ll consider him to be missing and she’ll start her own investigation into his disappearance.

But it seems that some interesting things are going to happen from there. First off, Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Kristen will order Xander to “eliminate” Ted, but Xander won’t do it. He’ll betray Kristen and decide to keep Ted alive. That’s good news for Ted, but Xander still won’t be able to let Ted go and tell the Holly tale, so it looks like Ted will remain “missing.”

And DOOL spoilers say that Kristen will soon figure out that Hope is investigating Ted’s disappearance, so she’ll have to do something to throw Hope off the sent. It looks like we’ll soon see a game of cat and mouse between Kristen and Hope.

At any rate, it looks like Ted may be on his way out of Salem. As DOOL viewers know, Gilles Marini is leaving the show this summer, so one way or another Ted will vanish. Do you think Hope will find him before he ends up leaving Salem for good?
