Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Haley has not completed her immigration properly or let her green card lapse, therefore she is in the United States illegally, and that is also why her older sister DA Melinda Trask (Laura Kai Chen) had to kick her out of her home. It would be a huge conflict of interest for her to be harboring an illegal alien!

Of course, once JJ finds this fact out about Haley, he realizes he too is harboring an illegal alien! He’s fallen for her but is remaining the gentleman even though he’s allowed her to stay with him. He may offer her a marriage of convenience to make Haley legal, even though there’s no guarantee she will ever want to be a “real” wife to him!

JJ may figure Haley eventually will return his feelings and affections, or think she might “learn to love him”! That’s a good way to for him to get his heart broken, because she may not “be into him that way”!

JJ doesn’t have the best track record with women; his first romance with Paige Larson (True O’Brien) ended badly with him at fault, cheating on her with her mother Eve Donovan (Kassie DiPaiva)! Then he tried again, dating Paige’s half-sister Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) which didn’t work out either.

Then he most recently got involved with Lani Price (Sal Stowers) which her father, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) disapproved of. That ended badly also when he found out Lani slept with his cousin, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey)!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – A Marriage Of Convenience

It seems like JJ sets himself up for failure in the romantic department; and if he offers to marry Haley to make her a legal citizen, she may not even accept! But then again, under stress and basically homeless, she might!
