Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that death might not be the end of Ted Laurent. Actor Gilles Marini wouldn’t say for sure, but hint he could return one day.

One possibility that he teased is the character could have a twin. This certainly wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for head writer Ron Carlivati.

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Marini discussed his character. Fans know that when Ted first arrived, fans were not sure what to expect. What they did know is he would have a lot of scenes with Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). In recent months, his woman of choice has changed to Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso).

In fact, when head writer Ron Carlivati first came to DOOL, fans were discussing his work on General Hospital. These were some of the things that were brought up on what viewers could expect.

“It’s so funny because one of the executives, I cannot tell who told me, ‘Hey, you know how it is here. Nobody dies. What if he had a twin brother?”

Gilles Marini theorized about what kind of twin should appear on the NBC soap opera.

“I think for this particular situation, to get rid of bad people, you send a twin brother that is a police officer that works for Interpol.

“I thought that would be a good idea because it would be a little bit more real than usual and it would be a lot more dangerous.”
