Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Galen Gering Exits, Rafe Rushes to Sami’s Side

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers confirm Galen Gering will exit the NBC soap opera. However, fans shouldn’t fret just yet. It is only a temporary leave of absence. Find out his departure date and how Rafe Hernandez’s storyline ties into scheming Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney).

Gerings final air date is January 18, 2019. Sources state that Rafe leaves Salem to be by Sami’s side. It is also teased that it is so he can assist her.

As fans recall from months ago, Sami discovered that EJ DiMera (formerly James Scott) was alive, just like she thought. She left Salem to find the love of her life. What viewers also recently discovered was that EJ and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) were in the same institution. Xander (Paul Telfer) and Eve (Kassie DePaiva) confirmed this during a recent conversation.

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal that Rafe will go to Sami so he can help her. But how will Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) feel about this? Remember, the “Rope” wedding was stopped when Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) announced to all of Salem that Rafe slept with Sami.

It is clear that although Hope ended up forgiving Rafe for his intimate indiscretion, she still has anger toward Sami. She might not be that thrilled that Rafe and Sami are going to be together while she is back in Salem. However, if Rafe’s mission will help Jack or provide answers to one of Salem’s other mysteries, then Hope will understand that she has to let Rafe go.
