Sarah is determined to leave Salem in an effort to prevent him from finding out she is pregnant. However, Xander is determined to come up with a way to keep her in Salem. He gets Dr. Rolf’s help and has an envelope delivered to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). The contents of the envelope contain proof that Sarah is pregnant.

Dr. Rolf delivers the envelope, but Eric isn’t home. He decides to leave the envelope with Nicole, who wonders what could be inside. She finally can’t resist temptation and opens the envelope. She is stunned to discover that Sarah is pregnant.

Meanwhile, Dr. Rolf tells Xander that he left the envelope with Nicole. When hearing this, Xander rushes over to her place to do damage control. He never intended for Nicole to find out about the baby.

Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Xander confronts Nicole about Sarah’s pregnancy shocker. According to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Arianne Zucker explained that she is urged to keep Sarah’s secret. She knows that secrets always come out and when they do, there is fallout. However, she agrees to keep quiet about Sarah’s baby for now.

“It definitely complicates the situation. Maybe there’s a small part of her that thinks Eric will drop everything and go to Sarah, but it’s so highly doubtful after everything they’ve been through.”

The actress adds that Nicole’s stress isn’t about Sarah’s baby, it’s about the pressure that Xander is putting on her. Xander tries to convince her that keeping the baby a secret from Eric is best for everyone.

Nicole is no stranger to keeping secrets. In her past, she has kept a lot of them and they always had the same result. The ended with it blowing up in her face and causing a lot of people pain. She worries that keeping Sarah’s pregnancy from Eric could have negative results.
