Even though the two are considered enemies, could these strong feelings incite a lifelong passion for one another? Could “Stabi” eventually be Salem’s next super couple?

Many times, soap opera romance isn’t all roses. There are obstacles, affairs and other drama. That is what makes DOOL such a great daytime series.

Other couples on the show have been through similar trials. Look at John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall). Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) are another example. It’s safe to say that Stefan and Gabi will go through their own love and hate sessions as well.

Gabi will have to face facts: that she isn’t able to keep her hands off Stefan for a reason. She is falling in love with her enemy. Next week, expect to see her kick him out of the DiMera mansion. Then, she defends him after he is arrested for murder. Later, she will feel guilty. Back and forth she goes. They share a lot of hatred for one another, but they also have a crazy passion that the show hasn’t seen in a long time.

As previously reported, Camila Banus also teased the future of Gabi. The actress said that due to her prison trauma, it is hard for her to equate sex with love. However, she also explained that Gabi won’t understand where the feelings come from. This has to be hard for Gabi, but it prompts empathy for the character and why she has such manipulative agendas in recent episodes.

There is an increasing number of Salemites who recognize that “Stabi” has a real connection. First, it was Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). More recently, Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) mentioned it to Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson).

With all of these clues and the love/hate relationship between the two, “Stabi” makes the ideal super couple. They have chemistry, passion and an understanding of the other. Plus, every other super couple in soap opera history has had moments where they hated their partner. Stefan and Gabi are no exception. It is only a matter of time before fans are rooting for the couple.
