Days of Our Lives’ Haley (Thia Megia) and J.J. (Casey Moss) start to make out when Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) interrupts. Jennifer has pictures from the wedding. J.J. wishes Haley could have got to know Abby (ex-Kate Mansi), Haley jokingly says they will have to go to Paris. Jennifer shows J.J. a picture of himself and Jack (Matthew Ashford). Haley and J.J. speak with Jennifer before she heads to the debate. J.J. offers to speak to Jack for Jennifer.

Jennifer hopes Abe mops the floor with Melinda (Laura Kai Chen). Haley talks about Melinda being about the win and wants to watch the debate tonight. Haley says that is why Melinda freaked out when she found out J.J. knew the truth. J.J. apologizes if he was moving too fast for Haley. Haley says maybe after the debate they can get back to what they started. J.J. tells Haley that Melinda only thinks about herself, she kicked Haley out when she got in the way. J.J. and Haley look at each other when Eve (Kassie DePaiva) questions immigration. Haley realizes that J.J. told Jack the truth about her.

DOOL Spoilers Eve Pushes Jack To Go After Melinda

Days of Our Lives’ Eve tells Jack that she is team mayor Jack. Eve wants to use Haley to get to Melinda. Jack asks if they are supposed to ship Haley off to China so he can be mayor. Eve says Melinda will get her out of it. Jack asks what about J.J.? Eve says it is better for J.J. if this happens now. Jack says yes, and he will just become mayor because of it.

Jack tells Eve she wants him to be quiet and let her think. Eve tells Jack the debate is on tv live. Jack wants to warn J.J. that he plans to expose Haley’s secret but Eve talks him out of it. Eve pushes Jack to go to the debate and see what happens. Eve and Jack head to the debate. Eve and Jack listen to Abe’s statement. Eve advises Jack to listen to Melinda’s speech.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers The Debate Begins

Days of Our Lives’ Abe (James Reynolds) meets with Sheila (Tione “T-Boz” Watkins) about the debate. Valerie (ex- Vanessa Williams) calls Abe and tells him she can’t make it to Salem for the debate. Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) can’t be there either. Sheila tells Abe he needs to bring up how Melinda was all about herself. Sheila tells Abe she has his back, he suggests that is because she would lose her job if he does. Abe and Sheila talk about how they make a good team. Melinda approaches Abe and tells him he won’t be happy after tonight’s debate. Melinda asks if Sheila learned her terminology from her jailhouse lawyer.

Abe believes everyone deserves a second chance. The debate begins, and Abe talks about how he wants to keep the people of Salem safe. Melinda berates Abe’s run as mayor and brings up Xander (Paul Telfer) getting away with shooting Marlena (Deidre Hall). Abe says what happened with Xander was unfortunate and he takes responsibility for it. Sheila takes the blame for the video disappearing and offers to resign. Abe refuses Sheila’s resignation and tells Melinda she was in a rush to judgment the whole time she was in office. Abe tells Melinda she is in this for all the wrong reasons.

Abe says his officers believe he would be the better mayor and he hopes everyone agrees with him. Melinda says Xander got away with his crimes because of Abe’s relationship with Victor (John Aniston). Melinda brings up Mateo’s (ex-Andoni Gracia) henchmen. Eve stands up and questions Melinda’s position on immigration. Jack demands to know what Melinda’s stand is on illegal immigration. Jack asks if Melinda thinks illegal immigration is a threat to the people of Salem, she says yes. Jack asks Melinda if she would take a stand against illegal immigration and she says yes. Jack tells Melinda that is interesting since her sister is illegal and living in Salem.

DOOL Spoilers Claire’s Daydream Reveals All

Days of Our Lives’ Ciara (Victoria Konefal) says it had to be Jordan (Chrishell Hartley) that set the first fire and she knew they would blame Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), she asks who else it could have been. Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) starts to remember seeing herself in the cabin with a lighter. Claire reveals to Ciara and Tripp (Lucas Adams) that she is one who set the cabin fire. Tripp asks Claire how she found out Ciara was at the cabin. Claire tells Tripp it appeared on her computer when Ciara turned her phone on at the cabin.

Claire wanted to be the person who saved Ciara at first. Claire said Ciara looked helpless and she saw how to get her out of the way for good. Claire says it Ciara hadn’t won the contest; she would have a singing career. Claire also blamed Ciara for losing Theo because she wouldn’t have had to win the contest if Ciara hadn’t entered it. Claire says she was angry and hurt and wasn’t thinking straight. Claire says she realized what she did when she got halfway to her car.

When Claire came back, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) was with Ciara. Claire says she acted surprised when Julie called her with the news. Suddenly Tripp is asking Claire if she’s ok, and we realize she was remembering what happened but didn’t confess at all. Claire agrees with Tripp that Jordan probably set the fire. Hope arrives with a milkshake and burger and asks Ciara where Ben is. Hope tells Ciara she had a nice talk with Ben and thought he was coming to see her. Ben is sitting at a table reliving what happened with Jordan.

Days Of Our Lives Hope Apologizes To Ben

Days of Our Lives’ Ben stops by the police station and asks Hope if Jordan is on her way to Bayview. Ben doesn’t understand why Jordan did the things she did. Hope looks at Ben, and he realizes she knows something and asks what it is. Hope tells Ben that Jordan told Rafe she killed their mom on purpose. Ben asks if the second car accident was what made her remember.

Hope says the second accident caused her to lose her grip on reality. Ben says Jordan kept saying she needed to protect people from him and suggests he needs to be locked away. Ben and Hope talk about how he almost killed Jordan. Ben tells Hope he heard Ciara screaming and he couldn’t stop. Hope tells Ben he was fighting to save Ciara’s life.

Ben tries to tell Hope that she might have been right about him. Hope tells Ben she was wrong about him. Hope tells Ben she believed he started the first fire and kidnapped Ciara and Charlotte. Ben asks Hope what changed her mind about him starting the first fire, and she tells him Jordan. Hope apologizes to Ben for everything she has put him through. Hope tells Ben she’s not sure she will ever be ok with Ben and Ciara, but she will always be grateful to him. Hope tells Ben he’s a free man and he can go, Ben leaves.
