Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Claire And Eve Frame Ben — Can He And Ciara Prove His Innocence?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) and Eve Deveraux (Kassie DePaiva) will continue to conspire to frame Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) for both fires that Claire herself started, in Monday, June 17  episode!

Claire apparently kept the lighter which appeared to be Ben Weston’s, and which he forgot, in the first fire where her aunt Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) was trapped in and Ben had set her broken leg after discovering her in trouble after a motorcycle wreck; this is where Ben and Ciara first got acquainted.

DOOL Spoilers– Ben KNows Claire Started The Fire

Ben and Tripp Dalton (Lucas Dalton) had both seen the lighter in Claire’s jewelry box or in her hand at different times, Ben just wasn’t sure it was his, and Tripp wasn’t sure whether to believe that Claire had started smoking and stopped. Then Ben found the lighter at the latest fire at the wrong time, with Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) seeing him with it in his hand and he got arrested on probable cause charges.

Eve is determined to frame Ben for both the fires to get revenge for his Necktie Killer murder of her daughter Paige Larson (True O’Brien) which he never faced charges for due to a verifiable insanity defense, and Claire is determined to never get caught for them as the true arsonist, which would also involve attempted murder charges if anyone but Eve knew the truth! Eve is covering for Claire to be able to frame Ben!

However, Eve might need to manufacture some more evidence for the charges to stick, or pay off some witnesses; however, the only witness she could pay off might be Claire herself, and Claire may not be willing to testify that she was there, because then she’d have to explain why!

However, Eve could probably find some residents of the Salem Jail awaiting trial who’d testify, and get themselves “get out of jail free” cards in the process! There are bound to be a few druggies and drunks who would gladly lie in court to get money and freedom!
