Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Can Hope Find Missing Ted Without Police Resources?

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will try to track down a missing Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) after he fails to show up after having called her that he had to tell Nicole Walker (Adrienne Zucker) some good news in Friday’s episode.

Hope may not be immediately alarmed that he has met with foul play, but she will be concerned that he could have been involved in an automobile accident or something else such as a health issue could have happened to him; he is a man of the age that could have a heart attack, after all.

She will likely contact Nicole first, who of course is really Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and she will deny, deny, deny that he ever arrived to talk to her, after having likely stashed him in the secret room in the DiMera mansion by that time, and unless he took a cab or an Uber or walked, hidden his car somewhere to be disposed of later as well!

Hope was already in Salem University Hospital waiting to see Will Horton (Chandler Massey) so probably after she likely calls Nicole before looking for her, she’ll check the emergency room first or have someone call down and see if he’s been brought in. After not finding him there, and “Nicole” denying she’s seen him, then the detective work will start for Hope.

She doesn’t have access to the police resources, so either she may be forced to report him missing to Eve Deveraux (Kassie DePaiva), which she won’t want to do, or she might contact Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and explain the situation. She doesn’t have his cell phone, and further calls will go straight to voicemail, Kristen probably having destroyed the phone.

But she could ask Eli to pull records from the cellphone carrier to see what incoming and outgoing calls came and went from the phone, and possibly try to ping the phone to get the last location it was used at – or triangulate from the phone records if the phone can no longer be pinged and tracked.

That triangulation may lead to the DiMera mansion, and even though Kristen may keep him hostage in the secret room, Hope’s got Abe Carver (James Reynolds) on her side if he accepts Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) job offer!
