When Jordan invited Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and his girlfriend to baby David’s birthday, she had good intentions. DOOL spoilers suggest it was a rare moment of sanity for the physical therapist. However, she soon returned to her delusional belief and brainstormed a murderous plan.

Jordan bakes cupcakes for her young son’s birthday. Setting one aside just for Ciara, Jordan injects the sweet treat with poison. However, the plan doesn’t go quite as intended. In fact, there is nearly a tragedy and a young child’s life was put in jeopardy.

Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Camila Banus) daughter attends the birthday party. Being the sweet little girl she is, Ari Horton offers Jordan’s baby one of the cupcakes. However, the one she gives to the little boy is filled with poison.

Jordan notices that the poisoned cupcake, which is labeled, is missing. She rushes around trying to find it when Ari tells Jordan she gave it to David. The crazed character freaks out, but manages to get the cupcake from David before he eats it.

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that a terrifying moment like that should knock some sense (and sanity) into Jordan. However, she continues with her plan. Jordan truly believes that killing Ciara is the right thing to do. There is nothing anyone can say or do that will change her mind.

So, she gives the poisoned treat to Ciara, who gobbles it down. Afterward, the young woman begins feeling sick. Jordan suggests that Ben take his girlfriend home to rest. She thinks it is just a matter of time before her target is eliminated. However, Jordan is in for a shock.

It isn’t revealed how Ciara survives the poisoning, but we do know it doesn’t kill her. Somehow, she lives through another murder attempt.
