Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: A Tug Of War For Marlena’s Soul – Is Deidre Hall Staying In Salem?

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will be in a tug of war for her soul, while in an out-of-body experience. Back on earth, she has flatlined and Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Dr. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) work feverishly to bring her back to life!

Two factions will battle in purgatory over Marlena’s soul while family and friends, her ex-priest son Eric Brady (Greg Vaughn) pray for her to revive on earth.

While in her out-of-body state, which Days of our Lives writers have defined as purgatory, an in-between place between heaven and hell, several faces from her past appear. First, she sees Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) who approaches her with a warning; that once the soul has left the body, there’s no turning back.

Tony wants to bring her into Heaven. Then Andre DiMera (also Thaao Penghlis) appears, as does Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso) who join together try to bring her to Hell. Tony and Andre and Gina battle it out for her soul, with poor Marlena stuck in the middle.

While all this is going on, Days of Lives viewers, and possibly Marlena herself, will see what life would be like for Salemites with Marlena no longer there. Andre and Gina will actually show her life in Salem without Marlena. And it’s implied that lots of people will go off the rails without Marlena’s stabilizing influence, according to an article in the latest Soap Opera Digest.

The page next to the article shows photo pictures of Eric and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) starting a fist fight in front of the nurses’ desk, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena’s daughter Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) in a black dress holding an urn.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Marlena Concludes She Must Return

Belle is sitting in the Salem Police Station at a desk with Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) approaching her in handcuffs, and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Leo Starke (Greg Rikaart) are in a seltzer bottle fight!

They’re not going at each other with the bottles, it’s just Will soaking Leo down. Of course, all of these photos may not apply in this particular episode, although there is one with Andre, Marlena and Gina watching Marlena’s life like they were in a theater which obviously applies.

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Marlena will come to the conclusion that she will have to battle her way back to her body on earth, and does so successfully after realizing how much her family and friends need her.
