Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Salem University Hospital and other medical researchers who test the batch of resynthesized amnesia serum that Doctors Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) used to reverse-engineer an antidote for Will Horton (Chandler Massey) may find that it is safe after all, if taken as directed!
DOOL Spoilers: Medical Researchers Test A Batch Of Amnesia Serum
Will took a massive overdose of the serum, invented by Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) wanting to get his memories back faster. As Days of Our Lives viewers undoubtedly know, there can be too much of a good thing, and poor Will nearly died learning that lesson!
This discovery would be very valuable in helping other amnesiac patients, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) for one. Other Days of Our Lives spoilers in fact tease that once Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) finds out that Rolf’s diary was found and Will was saved by using it to recreate the amnesia serum and an antidote for the tumor, she will practically beg Jack to take some!
He will resist, knowing about Will’s side effect brain tumor until he has more information from Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) about the safety of the serum and whether he would even be allowed to take any of the untested serum; of course the antidote was untested as well, but as Will was dying it couldn’t have harmed him any worse than he was already; that made a difference!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Jack Deveraux Could Benefit From The Serum
Will has been said to be making a full recovery, both from the cardiac arrest he suffered when he died for a short time and his great-grandma Caroline Brady (Peggy McKay) sent him back, and the tumor. He started improving rapidly right after the serum was injected into his IV tube by Rex!
He was able to immediately start on a memorial article for the Salem Spectator about Caroline, and had no headaches, memory problems or emotional outbursts, at least not negative ones, although Days of Our Lives viewers could see some tears starting to form in his eyes when his mother Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) confirmed to him that Caroline had indeed passed away. Time will tell if the serum will be found totally safe for use on amnesic patient.
