Days Of Our Lives Rumor: Will Jack Give Eve The Boot When His Memory Returns?

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) is showing signs that his memories are getting closer and closer to the surface, and may eventually return!

On a recent Days of Our Lives episode, Jack was having a dream as he laid in bed with his new bride Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) and he kept saying “Loretta!”

Of course, longtime Days of Our Lives viewers know that “The Loretta” was a ship where Jack and Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) were trapped by Ernesto Toscano (Charles Cioffi) on a soapy Days of Our Lives miniseries arc called “The Cruise of Deception” between June 7 and July 16, 1990.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Why The Loretta Is Significant

The “Loretta” would refer to a very significant time in the lives of Jack and Jenn, because it was during this time that the couple made love for the first time.

Jenn recently tried to both stop the wedding of Jack and Eve, and jog Jack’s memories of their love and time together. She recreated a memory where Jack dressed as a fireman and saved Jenn from a fire, which he staged to keep her from marrying a wrong person.

Unfortunately, Jenn’s efforts didn’t work as well as she had hoped, and the wedding took place after all. But the fact that “The Loretta” is apparently coming up in his dreams is a good sign that his memories may be getting ready to surface from his unconscious mind.

He also talked about “The Loretta” when he was knocked out in the supply closet with Jenn and a bunch of boxes hit him on the head! She got her hopes up when she heard him say “Loretta”.

Jenn, and many Days of Our Lives viewers hope that Jack will indeed get his memories back and come to his senses. After all, he knew what Eve Donovan was all about from years ago.

They were married for a very short time years ago, but it was only so Eve could get a ten million dollar inheritance from Nick Corelli (George Jenesky). A nd once she got the money, the marriage was annulled!

So what will happen if and when Jack gets his memories back (and hopefully some sense!)? Will he give Eve the boot right away, or just play her for awhile until he can safely get a divorce, or possibly an annulment this time too, since he could be considered not in his right mind having suffered from amnesia?
