On September 14, Grace Ashford married Michelle Farinella. The bride looked content and happy, and it appears it was an outdoors wedding. The Days of Our Lives actor posted about the event on his Instagram page. He wrote,

“My daughter Grace and me on her wedding day!”

DOOL News – About Matthew Ashford’s Daughter

Ashford spoke to Soap Opera Digest about Grace, who already has an incredible career as a reporter. She graduated from Vassar, then got a masters degree in investigative reporting from Columbia University. She got a job with The New York Times and one of her first projects was the Harry Weinstein story. Grace was one of the reporters that won the Pulitzer Prize for the piece.

As many fans know, that story was part of what started the #MeToo movement.
