Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal some big changes for Sarah, as fans began to see on Friday’s episode. During an interview, actress Linsey Godfrey discussed Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder), Sarah Horton and what is going to happen next. Keep reading to get all the details.

On Friday’s episode of the NBC soap opera, Sarah accidentally said, “I love you too, Eric” when responding to Rex. She finally said the words. However, this obviously didn’t go over well with Sarah’s new husband.

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Godfrey explained that she has bottled up her feelings for Eric for so long. Now, she can’t keep her love hidden anymore. After having a conversation with Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), Sarah heads to tell Eric that things are over with Rex. However, she had no idea that Rex already confronted Eric.

“Sarah comes in kind of with guns blazing,” Godfrey said. “She’s buried these feelings down for such a long time, so she’s like, ‘I need you to listen. Now that this door is open, I need you to know how deeply my feelings go. It’s not just that I have a little bit of a crush or I’m smitten. I’m crazy about you.’”

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that even with Sarah’s confession, Eric is resisting the idea of moving forward with her. After all, he remembers what happened during the Brady Black (Eric Martsolf)/Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) love triangle. Thankfully, she is able to finally convince Eric and he listens to what she is really saying.

Eric and Sarah end up making love, which Godfrey described “emotional, emotional, emotional and then sexy. It’s a little slapdash, spontaneous and hungry. It’s a long time coming. So it’s definitely more raw and passionate than slow and sensual.”

However, the drama with Rex isn’t quite over yet. The next morning, Rex shows up at Eric’s apartment. He confronts the couple, but doesn’t realize their marriage was over before it began.

This causes Rex to quit his job and soon he will leave Salem. Before he goes, though, he delivers a shocking parting gift to Sarah.

“It’s a final little twisting of the knife because he’s hurt. And it’s going to spook her. There’s a part of Sarah that will never really feel safe in her relationship with Eric because she can never be Nicole.”
