Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings: Laura Kai Chen Returns!

Days of Our Lives comings and goings indicate that Laura Kai Chen will soon be returning to Salem. The actress, who is best known for her role as Melinda Trask, was last seen on the show back in May of last year. Here’s what we know about her comeback.

According to reports, Laura will be sharing scenes with her fellow daytime television co-star Thia Megia, who plays Haley on the highly rated NBC soap. Some Days of Our Lives fans are already speculating on social media that she could be her daughter or another close relative. There has been no confirmation, though. So far Days of Our Lives producers have made no comments about Melinda’s new storyline, how long she will be on the show, and what fans can expect for that matter.

Aside from her work on daytime television, Laura has been keeping very busy. She appeared on an episode of NCIS: Los Angeles last year and back in 2016 and 2017, she was on several television series including Loosely Exactly Nicole, Togetherness, and Hawaii Five-O. In other words, she’s been in demand both on daytime and primetime television.

It’ll be interesting to see what’s in store for Melinda, who has been on and off on the show since 2013. Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next. We can’t wait!
