Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings: Is Jay Kenneth Johnson Returning To Salem?

On “Days Of Our Lives,” rumors have been circulating that Jay Kenneth Johnson may possibly reprise his role as Philip Kiriakis. The speculations came about after Lauren Koslow posted a photo of herself and Johnson. In the snap, which has now been deleted, Koslow revealed that the actor was with her for an interview, and they were catching up.

The last time fans saw Philip on the show, the character was still played by John-Paul Lavoisier. However, it was Johnson who originated the role. He played it from 1999 to 2002 and again from 2007 to 2011. In between those stints, Kyle Brandt was recast for the character. With the photo quickly taken down, viewers are becoming increasingly convinced that Johnson might be reprising his role.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of October 28 reveal that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) will continue to prepare for their upcoming wedding. However, fans need to stay tuned to find out if the pair will actually get through tying the knot. Tensions will rise during the run up to Eli and Lani’s wedding. There will be a lot of drama and it’s courtesy of Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) who is on a mission to get revenge on Lani.

Viewers may recall that Gabi’s husband Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) died after getting shot when he threw himself in front of Vivian (Robin Strasser) when Lani tried to fire on her. Internal affairs have ruled it as a clean shoot but Gabi still cannot accept that Stefan died because of her.

With her husband gone, she’s vowed to make Lani pay. She believes Lani does not deserve to be happy and that’s why she’ll manipulate her into dumping Eli at the altar by threatening to kill Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes).

Gabi has control over the pacemaker that was implanted into Julie’s hart. She gives Lani a preview as to what she can do by pressing a button on the app on her phone and Julie’s heart starts to race. Will she be able to outmaneuver Gabi or will she have no choice but to follow Gabi’s wishes?
