Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Chad & Abby in Paris chapter 2, episode 1 showed the surprise visitor, which left the first chapter ending on a cliffhanger. It turns out it was Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghils). As fans know, he is the spitting image of Andre DiMera (also played by Thaao Penghlis), whom Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi) killed. Will flashbacks cause her mental illness to resurface?

While suffering from dissociative identity disorder (DID), Abigail killed her brother-in-law and best friend, Andre DiMera. She didn’t even remember doing it until much later, after her alter ego, “Gabby” accused Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) of the crime. It led to Gabi going to prison, being attacked and left her unable to have more children.

DOOL Spoilers – Abigail DiMera’s Mental Health

Chad & Abby in Paris chapter 2 spoilers suggests that Abigail’s mental health could be in danger. She has been well for so long. However, she was certainly spooked seeing Tony. He looks exactly like Andre, which probably brought back bad memories for her. It is possible that she will struggle with her past actions. It might even lead her to have another break in reality.

For Days of Our Lives fans watching the web companion series, Abigail nearly fainted when seeing Tony. Then, Chad had to reassure her that it was not Andre back from the dead, but Tony DiMera. She spent the rest of the episode staring at him with her mouth open like she was in shock and couldn’t get out of it.

It seems like this is definitely a teaser of what is to come when Billy Flynn and Kate Mansi return to Days of Our Lives. Spoilers indicate that Chad will be working on dealing with DiMera business. As for Abigail, her mental health could suffer. Hopefully, she gets help before it completely takes over, like it did last time.
