After leaving Days of Our Lives as Abigail Deveraux last year, Marci Miller has been involved in various exciting projects. She’s been recently cast in a new thriller/horror film titled F.E.A.R.
The movie by Jason Tobias and Geoff Reisner will revolve around one family that does everything to protect their children against a band of vengeful marauders in a sleepy mountain town that’s been infected with a terrifying pathogen.
DOOL Alum Marci Miller’s New Gig!
Miller will take on the role of Josephine “Joe” Allister and work with other actors like Danny Ruize and Cece Kelly. This suspenseful film isn’t Marci’s first foray into the thriller/horror genre. Fans may recall that she starred in the film Children of the Corn: Runaway (Amazon) in 2018. F.E.A.R. wrapped up its production last March and will soon premier this fall.
The American actress and model is best known for her role as Abigail Deveraux on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives. She played the character from 2016 to 2018. Before rising to popularity, Miller was born and raised in the small town of North Liberty, Indiana. In her younger years, she studied vocal performance and Film Master Class and pursued theatrical opportunities as well.
Miller Gave An Emotional Goodbye After Taping Her Final DAYS Scenes
After taping her final scenes in Days of Our Lives, she took to Instagram to say her thanks and goodbyes. In her post that accompanied a video of her playing a piano and singing, she wrote, “And just like that, 2 very meaningful years have come and gone, I have been loved so well today. I will miss this cast. I will miss these people. I will miss this place. I am both heavy and light at the same time. Much love to all, you have left just the sweetest impression on me.” The actress also shared a collection of photos from her last day on set.
In 2015, she was cast in American Fable as Sarah, the mother of Gavin MacIntosh. A year later, Miller joined the cast of Days of Our Lives and she debuted her character on November 10, 2016. She also appeared in movies like Most Likely Die, J Plus C, Death Race 2050, and several other short films. In 2018 and 2019, Miller was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category.
