Coronation Street Spoilers: Two Major Characters Returning?

Coronation Street spoilers indicate that fans might soon be seeing the return of two major characters in Weatherfield. As a matter of fact, actress Beverly Callard hints that she is putting on pressure to the show’s executive producers to bring back Jim and the couple’s other son, Andy. Here’s what we know.

Jim was briefly brought back after he conned Liz into thinking that their dead daughter Katie was indeed alive. But what he did was actually work with his scheming girlfriend Hannah to trick Liz into thinking that she was Katie.

Liz cut all ties with him when the truth came out, yet actor Charles Lawson – who plays Jim on the hit soap – has not ruled out a comeback, especially if producers would like to see him back for another stint. And apparently, Beverly is open to that idea.

What’s more, she also thinks that Andy should come back to the show, too. The role was played by actor Nick Cochrane, who was last seen on Coronation Street back in 2009 when he was a guest at his twin Steve’s wedding to Becky.

Beverly told Good Morning Britain in a new interview, “Listen you’ve got to bully the producer and the writers. I would love Charlie to come back. But we so would love Nick who played Andy to come back as well.’”

Of course, producers are yet to make any comments on whether or not fans will actually see that happen! Coronation Street airs weeknights on the ITV network in Britain and is available on Britbox in the U.S. Check your local listings for times.
