Coronation Street Spoilers: Peter On The Verge Of A Breakdown As He Desperately Searches For Carla

On “Coronation Street,” Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) is on the verge of a breakdown as he struggles to cope with the disappearance of his ex-wife Carla Connor (Alison King). He has been spending all his time and energy looking for Carla, who fled Weatherfield after suffering a mental breakdown.

Viewers of “Coronation Street” may recall that the Underworld roof collapse took a toll on Carla’s mental health. She is plagued by guilt as she continues to believe that she was responsible for the roof collapse that led to the death of her sister-in-law Rana Habeeb (Bhavna Limbachia).

She’s currently being blamed because she knew that the roof had problems, and she failed to have it fixed. She then received a creepy message from Rana’s online account, which had a significant effect on her mental health. She now believes that Rana is still alive.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Peter Barlow Continues To Search

As Peter continues his search for Carla, Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) comes to his aid as he notices his father is on the brink of breaking down.

He suggests putting an online search for Carla and uploads a photo of her online while using the “#findcarla” to gain some attention. He also records a video of him telling Carla how much he loves her and begs her to come home.

Coronation Street Spoilers – A Response Is Received

He then receives a response from someone who claims to have information about Carla but is asking for cash in return. Ken Barlow (Bill Roache) is skeptical but Peter wants to give it a try. Later on, Peter starts to get violent after getting some information about Carla from the police.

However, “Coronation Street” spoilers reveal that things also take a toll on Simon, and Peter’s ex-wife Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) starts to worry about Simon. She confides in Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) about wanting to have Simon move in with them, to which Nick agrees.

"It's too late, he's putting it up for sale".

After being kicked out by Sarah, with the news the yard is up for sale, Gary's world is crumbling down around him.

After Claudia Colby (Rula Lenska) witnesses Peter’s current state, Ken decides to bring him to a hospital. They are all worried that Peter might relapse on alcohol and suffer a mental breakdown as well. Will Peter be able to cope with Carla’s disappearance? Or will he continue to go on a downward spiral?
