Coronation Street Spoilers: Daniel’s Guilt and Betrayal Overwhelming, Struggles to Cope With Sinead’s Death

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) will struggle with Sinead Osbourne’s (Katie McGlynn) death. It’s not just losing his wife that is plaguing him, though. He is also dealing with the guilt of betraying his dying wife with Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon).

While dealing with Sinead’s prognosis and only having a few weeks to live, the couple will struggle. It’s not much time to spend together and unfortunately, they end up fighting. After storming out, Bethany comes across Daniel, who is emotional and upset. While trying to comfort him, the two end up kissing.

What makes this worse is that they are caught. Daniel is pretty much told to go home to his dying wife. That Sinead isn’t even in the ground yet and here he is kissing another woman.

Coronation Street spoilers tease that Sinead suspects something is going on between Daniel and Bethany. She presses her husband for information and eventually, gets him to admit it.

She is understandably shocked and upset at first. But, then she realizes it’s useless to spend her last days angry. Plus, she knows he will need to move on after her death.

Despite the strain, Daniel and Sinead will try to move past their issues and spend their last moments together. In fact, Sinead dies in Daniel’s arms. However, Daniel will continue to struggle following her death.

Corrie spoilers state that Daniel will feel guilty about his kiss with Bethany. Even though Sinead forgave him, he will continue to struggle following his wife’s death. Expect him to go through mood swings and behave in self-destructive ways. He will also have to try to keep it together for the sake of his son.
