Coronation Street Spoilers: Corrie Kills Off Another Character

Coronation Street has confirmed that one of their former characters, Sylvia Goodwin, will be killed off-screen. Rumors of her death came up last weekend after a shocking spoiler suggested that Roy is the culprit behind the boat fire at the cobbles.

Sylvia, Roy Cropper’s mom, will exit the show by dying due to a heart attack. Sylvia was a regular cast member at Coronation Street between 2011 and 2013. Her death will deal a heavy blow to Roy, who is already struggling with the fourth death anniversary of his wife, Hayley.

Viewers will see Roy, played by David Neilson, receive tragic news about his mother’s sudden passing. Roy remains emotionally unstable as he finds it difficult to cope with his wife’s death. Carla Connor discovers that he didn’t come home and reports him missing to the police.

He comes home, apologizes to Carla and explains that he spent the night train spotting. The two meet at the Bistro for lunch and recall their fondest memories of Hayley. Shona and Roy’s trip down to memory lane gets interrupted by Shona.

She delivers the bad news to Roy saying she received a call that Sylvia is seriously ill and was admitted in the hospital in Hastings. Roy calls the hospital and finds out that his mother had a heart attack, which sends him rushing off to see Sylvia. But it was too late when he arrived at the hospital because his mom already passed away.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Tragedy Strikes

According to Coronation Street spoilers, Carla tries to reach out to Roy but he doesn’t want to talk about what has happened. She fears that Roy is trying to hide his feelings, which won’t end well for him.

Corrie spoilers say that he ends up sleepwalking and accidentally sets Peter’s boat ablaze, leaving him and his son Simon in grave danger.

The thick smoke leaves Simon unconscious but Peter manages to save his son by throwing his body over the side. What happens to Rob after the fire still remains to be seen. But surely, these will add up to the problems he’s currently facing.
