It looks like Carla Connor (Alison King) will not be blamed without good reason when the roof of the Underworld collapses and claims a life. Coronation Street spoilers tease that Carla will make a sneaky move which will contribute to the accident.
The Underworld factory sustained significant damage due to the boat fire that put Simon Barlow’s life in danger. Gary Windass (Mikey North) explained to Carla that the roof is no longer safe and it needed to be repaired, which would cost up to £60,000.
Carla then found a leak she wanted Gary to repair in the cheapest way possible. Gary reminded her that the entire roof needs to be replaced instead. Carla was irritated and accused Gary of just wanting more money.
Coronation Street Spoilers – Carla Tries To Save On Repair Expenses
Carla wants to cut back on expenses and so she starts to research possible ways to outsource production to a cheaper factory. Beth Tinker (Lisa George) saw what was on Carla’s computer and confronts her about it.
Carla tells her if she keeps quiet she will make sure it will be worth it for her. Will Beth keep her mouth shut? Or will she tell Nick Tilsley (Ben Price)? He may find out about it, but it may be too late.
Coronation Street spoilers also tease that Carla’s refusal to repair the roof will be a fatal mistake that will haunt her later when the tragedy unfolds. She will become a bad person in the eyes of the community, and she will have a hard time coping with it, leading to a devastating impact on her mental health.
What no one else knows is that someone used the chance to sabotage the factory and make the roof cave in. Who could be the culprit? Some fan theories suggest it may be none other than Gary or even Nick as he goes to darker side. Whoever it is, Carla will be in serious trouble.
