She is now seeing a specialist to help treat her psychotic breakdown.

Carla has been feeling incredibly guilty over Rana Habeeb’s (Bhavna Limbachia)death so much so that it’s caused her to go off the rails. Little does Carla know that Gary Windass (Mikey North) is actually responsible for the roof collapse and Rana’s untimely death. However, Carla has taken it so hard that it’s nearly ruined her life. That’s why with the help of Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) she is now getting the help that she desperately needs.

The first one will be to give up her share of Underworld. She wants to move on after the accident nearly ruined her own life.

According to The Sun, one source close to Coronation Street behind the scenes shared, “It’s going to be a long road to recovery for Carla after all she’s been through. She returns to Weatherfield terrified of the reaction she will get and is desperate to try and make up for everything that has happened. She blames herself for the state the factory is in and takes drastic action to win back the trust of her team.”

The insider added, “She’s going to hand over her part of Underworld to the workers and turn it into a co-operative. It will mean that the machinists will own a piece of the business they have spent years working in.”
