Coronation Street Spoilers: Audrey Has Some Shocking News For David Platt

Coronation Street spoilers indicate that Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) has some shocking news for David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) after Lewis Archers’ tragic death. Now that she’s been conned out of her money, she’s going to have to make some huge adjustments in her life. Here’s what you need to know.

As many Coronation Street viewers know, Audrey has been left devastated after the sudden death of her partner, Lewis Archer. To make matters worse, her bank account has been mysteriously cleared out, leaving her flat broke. While there are a lot of people that might have taken the money, Audrey is convinced that Lewis might have been up to his old tricks right before he died. After all, she did inherit quite a sum of money from Archie Shuttleworth just a few weeks ago.

And now the entire Platt family is concerned over Audrey’s well-being. Audrey tells her family that she’s spent enough time crying Lewis and wants to move on, while both David and Gail (Helen Worth) are clearly worried about her state of mind. And because her money was stolen, Audrey clearly has to continue working in order to make ends meet.

She will be forced to tell David that she won’t be retiring after all, which also means that he won’t be running the salon, either. David is going to have to hold back on his plans to run the business with his brother, Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) which of course won’t go down very well. Fans will have to tune in to find out what happens next!
