Say it isn’t so! Many Coronation Street fans are feeling distraught over the fact that Adam Barlow has decided to leave Weatherfield. The lawyer has decided to take a little break from his hometown after all of the drama that went down with Sarah Platt. Here’s what you need to know.
Coronation Street spoilers say that an angry Seb Franklin hit out at Gary for firing him before he lost his custody battle for his younger siblings. He just told him the truth about what happened last week. He also revealed that Sarah only helped him because he kept quiet over Adam knocking the wind out of him after he got between him and Sarah.
After Gary confronted Adam, he denied having an affair with Sarah and told him that he simply wanted what the couple had together.

And now Adam is so heartbroken he feels that the only thing left for him to do is leave Weatherfield. He revealed to Daniel that he was going to travel to Italy to be with friends and to also spend some time “finding himself” so to speak.
“I believe in fairy tales Ches, and today you rescued your princess.”

But Adam will soon learn that leaving Weatherfield won’t be easy. Sarah will catch up to him and question where he is going. During a very emotional scene, Adam says that he will be gone for a couple of months, and if not more. When Sarah told him that nothing happened between them he responded with, “That’s not strictly true, is it? Didn’t feel like nothing to me. I just realized Peter had the right idea with sailing away. I feel like I should do the same.”

It’s without a doubt that fans are definitely going to miss seeing Adam Barlow on Coronation Street, but we have a feeling that things are not over yet between him and Sarah.
