Coronation Street News: Has Alan Halsall Found Love Again?

Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall made headlines a few months back when he broke up with Lucy-Jo Hudson. After ending a near decade long relationship, it would seem love is on the horizon for Coronation Street’s Tyrone Dobbs.

Rumors started to circulate that he could be dating his former cast member Tisha Merry (who played Steph Britton) when a picture of them was posted on Instagram. It did not take long for his followers to react. Some said the two looked good together and were a ‘gorgeous couple’. The question now is if Halsall and Merry are really going out.

The Instagram photo was taken when he and Merry went out to watch rugby, with the Salford Red Devils playing in the field.

Last month, they also had a picture together playing badminton early in the morning. Fans were also eager to comment on their picture. One said, “U make a lovely couple” while another follower said, “Please say you two are a couple.”

Looking back at Halsall’s relationship with Hudson, the former couple met on the Corrie set back in 2002 where the latter played Katy Harris from 2002 to 2005. They tied the knot in 2009, had a daughter Sienna-Rae four years later, and broke up in 2016.

They managed to work things out about a month after their first break up, but the two eventually ended their relationship for good in 2018. After her stint on Coronation Street, Hudson joined Hollyoaks and played Donna-Marie. At that same time, she started going out with Lewis Devine.

For those who do not know who Tisha Merry is, she made her debut on Coronation Street in 2013. She took on the role as Steph and played the part until 2017. She took a break and returned briefly to the soap last year. Her character Steph worked at Nick’s Bistro and was a part of several major storylines.
