Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Will Zoe Turn On Thomas? Friend Or Foe Status Questioned

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) made an about-face. Her turn toward Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is incredible when considering all that happened since last summer.

B&B viewers have to hand it to Thomas, who, in one conversation, turned Zoe from a scared enemy into a seeming friend and eventually, maybe more. Yes, he just might be able to write Zoe’s first name under the In column on the list he’s creating.

Of course, Thomas’ list of perceived allies and enemies is written in erasable marker. He believes various people are key to his fluid plans, which now involve his hoped-for rise to power at Forrester Creations.

Logically, Thomas would never head Forrester Creations. But his goal can’t be ruled out considering that this is daytime drama. The intrigue comes in seeing just how far his hopes will advance and if he actually achieves them.

Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) support will remain key to Thomas’ success, as his father serves as protector. But other allies are needed, which now may include Zoe.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Zoe Buckingham Targeted As An Ally

Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) was just put in jail because he stole Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) from her parents and sold her to Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) under the guise of a private adoption to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Zoe was at the trial, as she told Thomas.

Of course it was soapy for Zoe to coincidentally be subletting an apartment in the same complex where Thomas is sponging off of Vincent Walker (Joe Lo Cicero). But Barnes is a good actor, so fans are glad to see her again.

It will be interesting to see if Thomas actually wants or needs to play off the flattery he’s offered to Zoe, by also pursuing her as a girlfriend. She told him that he’s attractive after receiving a similar compliment and in looking at the fashion sketches Thomas created with her as his subject.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Revenge Rather Than Redemption Pursued

Thomas is taking advantage of Zoe’s circumstance, as she’s broke and just lost her boyfriend, Xander Avant (Adain Bradley). So, asking her to move into Vinny’s apartment is both calculated, in Zoe’ regard, and presumptuous, where his longtime friend is concerned.

Hardcore viewers know that the Thomas character, as played by various actors through the years, has a long history of unchecked mental health issues. It’s now obvious that Atkinson’s alter ego is not pursuing redemption, but instead revenge. Zoe becomes the latest pawn in his real life chess game where a rise to power, rather than an acceptance of needed personal change, is being pursued.
