The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indicate that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will become unhinged as his obsession towards Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) continues to grow.

Since arriving back in Los Angeles, Thomas has been relying on Hope for support as he raises his son Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).

Hope has bonded with Douglas and is a mother figure to him. But Thomas wants to make Hope a more permanent part of his and Douglas’ lives. Thomas claims that he has always loved Hope and never got over their break up.

In the past, the couple did go out on a couple of dates, but their relationship never got serious. Hope’s heart belonged to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), the only man she’s ever truly loved.

Now, Thomas has another chance to win Hope back and he’s doing all he can to make sure that happens. Thomas’ actions have teetered on the edge of creepy. These actions include forging a letter from Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) asking Hope to help raise Douglas.

Thomas’ obsession with Hope has caused negative reactions with viewers, who feel that the show is ruining the character.

This wouldn’t be the first time that Thomas has become unhinged. A few years ago, he planted a bomb in Rick Forrester’s (Jacob Young) car. Rick managed to escape the explosion unharmed, but Thomas’ actions caused concern for his family. The reason for Thomas’ plot was because he believed Rick was responsible for the death of his sister Phoebe Forrester (MacKenzie Mauzy).

Another time when Thomas’ behavior came under scrutiny is when he took advantage of a vulnerable Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) following her break up with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). This resulted in Caroline becoming pregnant with Douglas.

After everything he’d done in the past, it looked like Thomas had finally matured. But his infatuation with Hope has him turning to the dark side again. If Hope turns down his advances, there’s no telling what he’ll do. But with him slowly becoming unhinged, not only is Hope’s life in potential danger, but so is Douglas’ and the rest of the family.
