The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal Tisha Campbell will be appearing on the CBS soap opera. During a recent interview, she spoke about the character and storyline. Campbell also discussed how the kidney transplant plot reminds her what a loved one went through.

It turns out that the kidney transplant topic is not unfamiliar for Campbell. Unfortunately, her father is going through it and is on dialysis. She revealed to Soap Opera Digest that right now, they are just waiting for him to get a kidney transplant. Although it is sad news, Tisha seemed to be staying positive about the situation.

“Honestly, I had already done a lot of research on it because my father is suffering from kidney failure. He’s a trooper and is on dialysis. We’re just waiting on a kidney.”

B&B spoilers tease that medical terminology is not easy to learn. Not only do people need to understand the words, but how to pronounce them as well. Even though Campbell is familiar with kidney failure, she did have to learn the jargon that medical professionals use.

It is always nerve-wracking going on an unfamiliar set and working with new people. However, Tisha said that she received a warm welcome from everyone on set.

“It’s an amazing set, first of all. Everybody is just very kind and generous and really great at what they do. I come from the theater, so I know how [hard it is] to be able to be flexible enough to make all the changes and be great enough just to be able to do your best.”
