Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Katie have reconnected recently, in the best interest of their son, Will. They have not had a great relationship in recent years and Katie believes it is time to repair that. However, Thorne isn’t sure Bill can be trusted. The truth is, Thorne may be correct.

Thorne wants Will to have a close relationship with his dad if it is a healthy one. He wants what’s best for Will. He doesn’t want Bill to use Katie’s son as a pawn to get closer to her to lure Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) from Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

Katie believes Bill’s changed man act and she urges Thorne to trust her instincts. While Thorne isn’t sure if he believes Bill’s lip service, he will trust Katie. However, if he burns her and Will, Thorne guarantees he will wage a war on her ex-husband.

For Valentine’s Day, Katie plans a romantic dinner for her husband. She realizes that there has been tension between them lately, and she wants to reconnect. Katie knows that Thorne is feeling threatened by Bill and she wants to reassure him that she only has eyes for him.

During dinner, Thorne drops a bombshell on her. Katie isn’t sure how to react to his news or what it means for her marriage. It sounds like he will be leaving Los Angeles and possibly filing for divorce. We’ll have to wait to find out for sure over the next few weeks.
