Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Thomas Leverages Pain As Hope Draws Closer To Douglas

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) misguided intentions to help his grieving son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), continue to make inroads into Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) mind. Taking full advantage of her recovering state, Thomas is knowingly leveraging her pain as well as that of his son’s.

As the Spencer brother’s referenced, what type of guy would use the above situation to try and steal Hope away? It’s also true that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), now aware of the situation, must make a decision. He either needs to secure his relationship with Hope, or consider returning to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), who is Thomas’ sister.

Of course, Hope and Liam, aren’t aware that Thomas is withholding key information from them. In addition to the forged illustration that Thomas made and gave to Hope, as though it was from Douglas, Atkinson’s character has now forged a letter as though it were from Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey).

Presented as though it represents Caroline’s last wishes, Hope has come to believe that she’s the embodiment of the woman who Douglas needs in his life. Thomas, writing as Caroline, wisely didn’t use Hope’s name, but penned a letter where Douglas’ mother hoped that a woman would assume responsibility for her son if anything tragic ever occurred.

Caroline’s passing spurned Thomas’ return to Los Angeles, California. But he didn’t fly in simply seeking the solace of family and friends for his son and himself. Thomas planned to make Hope his wife, using Douglas as an emotional pawn to facilitate the bond.

It will be interesting to see who learns about Thomas’ latest forgery. As viewers know, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is aware that he created the illustration meant to be from Douglas.

By splitting Wally, B&B shrewdly wrote Sally away from Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks). So, little talk will occur between the former significant others now.

However, it’s fair to think that Sally’s continued presence at Forrester Creations will allow her to either be told about Caroline’s letter, or learn of it in some other way. Sally is smart and fearless. She wouldn’t hesitate to tell Hope what Thomas did recently, or what she (Sally) would suspect he did with that letter.

Another part of this developing storyline involves timing. With whoever comes to know whatever about Thomas’ actions, will Liam and Hope have already split, with irreconcilable differences preventing their reunion, even including the certain Beth is Phoebe (Isabella de Armas and Rosalind Aune) reveal?

Thomas’ behavior is without question amoral and dangerous. Fallout for him could be devastating, but again will depend upon who knows what and when.
