‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Ridge Backs Taylor’s Hopes, Wants Steffy and Liam Back Together

The Bold And The Beautiful spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) finds himself between Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) once again. But what else is new in Los Angeles, California?

It’s not that Ridge is countering his wife fully. But he, like Taylor, doesn’t want Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to struggle.

Steam was the once and possible again dream couple, according to one’s perspective. Of course, Brooke doesn’t share that point of view. She feels, as was sternly told to Taylor, that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) wife now, period!

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Two Camps: Team Brooke And Team Taylor

B&B fans may find themselves choosing to be in one of two camps. There are those who support Taylor and others who back Brooke and have done so, regarding each lady, for many years. However, there is a soapy middle ground to explore.

Let’s not forget that it was Steffy, not Taylor, Brooke, or anyone else, who decided that she was tired of the Steam-Lope fight. Steffy said that she was “choosing herself” and selflessly decided to tell Liam that he should be with Hope.

Liam, being ever indecisive and often-times coming across as weak-willed, took Steffy’s advice and married Hope. His actual feelings may have been recently revealed when Hope selflessly told Liam that he should be with Steffy, their daughter Kelly (Zoe Pennington) and Phoebe, who is actually Lope’s daughter, though few realize that plot point.

Clifton’s character didn’t express any of the angst he did last summer when he bowed to Steffy’s wishes. This time around, Liam wasn’t conflicted. He told Hope no, adamantly, and has continued swatting down her pleas for him to reform Steam. That’s telling, but the Phoebe reveal has yet to play out.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Will Wood’s Return Reignite Lope Vs. Steam?

Brooke is right, as of the moment. She’s also siding with Steffy’s wishes, which puts both ladies in opposition to Taylor and seemingly, Ridge. He, like Taylor, blames Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) for Steam’s crash. They’re half right, as Steffy has told her parents repeatedly.

Wood has been away from the cast on maternity leave, after giving birth in real life. Steffy’s return to L.A. this spring will surely spark a revisit of the Steam-Lope conflict, especially after the Phoebe news drops.

In the meantime, Ridge and Brooke seem primed for their own ongoing marital squabble. Brooke is not open to Ridge’s backing of Taylor, on almost any topic.

Bridge isn’t yet on shaky ground, but could be depending upon what happens with Lope and potentially, a reformed Steam.
