A woman was recently spotted speaking with Reese. He assured her that what happened wasn’t her fault, so her baby may have been stillborn or took her last breath shortly after being born. Regardless, the scene was important and will definitely come back into play later. It makes sense that Reese would try to switch a dead baby out for Hope’s live one. Why? Money!

Reese is desperate to get his hands on fast cash and get that thug off his back. Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) life is at stake, so it’s easy to imagine Reese stooping this low to protect her. Selling a baby could go a long way toward taking care of Reese’s gambling debt.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers say Hope’s sudden medical crisis will provide the perfect opportunity. She doesn’t know what’s happening at the moment, so Reese can tell her whatever he wants.
