This actress says that she’s always up for a new challenge and that’s why she didn’t even hesitate when the producers of The Bold and the Beautiful gave her a call to see if she wanted to join the soap. That’s right, we are talking about Denise Richards (Shauna Fulton!). The Hollywood star will be making her soap debut this coming week. Here’s what you need to know.

Denise Richards will be playing Flo Fulton’s (Katrina Bowden) mother, who will come to Los Angeles to help her daughter out. According to Soaps in Depth, the blonde beauty says that she’s very excited to be a part of the team.

As a matter of fact, Denise already knows The Bold and the Beautiful star Darin Brooks (Wyatt Spencer) very well, as they used to work on the television series The Blue Mountain State together. Denise told the publication, “I asked him all about working on the show, and he loves it.”

Denise also said that she has quite a few friends who have worked in the daytime television industry, including her good friend and fellow The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Lisa Rinna. She added, “I’m also very good friends with Patrick Muldoon (ex-Austin on Days of Our Lives). But they didn’t really give me any daytime pointers other than to say, ‘Know your lines!’”

She also said that her new co-stars have been very helpful, too. “Rena Sofer (Quinn Forrester said, ‘If you have any questions, you can call me about anything. Everyone has been very helpful so far.’”
